Faith Connor, Stage Director

Faith is from South Florida. She moved to Brooklyn after graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans. She graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Music and a B.A. in Philosophy in May 2014. During her time in New Orleans, she performed in numerous musicals, sang in solo and group performances in venues around the city, and was an officer in the Tulane a capella group Green Envy. She's been singing since before she can remember and started performing in grade school; ever since, she's been hooked. Favorite past roles include Martha in Spring Awakening, Patty Simcox in Grease and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Faith traveled to Scotland to perform in the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in a musical entitled EveryChild, which she co-wrote with her teachers and classmates. Last year, Faith performed in a 3-week run of Hair at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carré in New Orleans' French Quarter and organized a community service concert at the Bishop Perry Center in New Orleans. The concert, entitled Love, Lies and Licentiousness reflected her thesis research exploring those and other major themes in the operas of W.A. Mozart. Living, studying and performing in New Orleans greatly influenced Faith's views on life and art, and she strives to bring a bit of *lagniappe *(that is, "a little something extra") to all of her endeavors. She is thrilled to be making her directorial debut with Find the Golden Bird, and feels grateful to have the opportunity to work with such a passionate group of people.
